Prince Salman Patronizes Annual Ceremony of Quran Memorization Society

Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh region, patronized here last night the annual ceremony of the charitable society for the Holy Quran memorization in the presence of the Kingdom's General Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz al Alsheikh.
Speaking on the occasion, Head of the charitable society of the Holy Quran memorization Saad al-Furyan introduced 207 Memorizers of the Holy Quran including 70 females.
He noted that the number of the Society's students amounted this year to 130,000.
Al-Furyan said the society has established a league for the graduates of the society under the chairmanship of Dr Abdul-Rahman al-Sideis, the Imam of the Haram.
