Khadra's recognition of that notion when she said, in a speech on the occasion, that "we sincerely felt the nobility of the prize's objectives and we have confidence in the keenness of its initiator to become a tool in the service of thought, science and knowledge and a bridge of contact among countries and peoples without any other considerations". The forthcoming third session further confirms the global interest in the prize with 118 works from 23 Arab and foreign countries received to fight for the award, giving much hope that the cultural project would continue its spiraling rise towards new horizons of success.
