United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (UNHCHR), Navanethem Pillay has lauded the efforts made by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in the field of human rights and the Kingdom's approval of the program of promoting the culture of human rights and system of combating human trafficking. Pillay made this statement during her meeting at the United Nations Headquarters here today with the President of Saudi Human Rights Commission, Dr. Bandar bin Mohammed Al-Aiban who is leading his country's delegation to the 13th session of the Human Rights Council being currently held in Geneva. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments of human rights' issues at all levels and efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the promotion of human rights domestically and internationally, and ways of enhancing cooperation between UNHCR and Saudi Arabia.
