Yemen and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) discussed here today ways of enhancing cooperation. This came during a meeting between the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi and the IMF's mission led by Hassan al-Atrash. In the meeting, al-Arhabi affirmed the Yemeni government's keenness to continue to implement reforms aiming at developing the performance and efficiency of the financial administration in Yemen. He pointed out that it is important that the IFM plays a more effective role in supporting Yemeni government to address the budget deficit.
