Japanese government has appropriated US $ 7 million to establish some typical schools in Sana'a, Saba reported. During his meeting with minister of planning and international cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi, the Japanese ambassador to Sana'a Masakazu Toshikage announced the gift, saying that it would be extended in May 17. Toshikage accentuated the Japanese government's keenness on continuing its support for Yemeni development process, hailing the achievements Yemen has realized in this regard. During the meeting, the two officials reviewed the results of al-Arhabi's visit to Japan last week. Al-Arhabi called on the Japanese companies to take part in the Marib Gas-based power station – second stage and Ma'abr power station, confirming the keenness of Yemeni government on enhancing the cooperation relations with Japan.
