Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, stressed that the development witnessed by Saudi-Qatari relations is the result of long-standing historical ties between the two countries, emphasizing that these relations are embodied by the bonds of kinship, neighborhood, belief, language and history. Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz praised the positive results and agreements reached during the meetings of the Joint Coordination Council. He also considered that the development of relations came as a result of the wise leadership of the two countries in accordance with the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. In an interview with "Al-Sharq" Qatari newspaper published today, Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz said that the establishment of the Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council emanates from the Saudi Arabia's endeavor to develop cooperation with all brothers in the GCC countries in all fields, stressing that the Coordination Council will enhance the long-standing historical relations between the two countries. --More
