Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, who is also Deputy Chairman of the Saudi side in Joint Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council, and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Qatar's Crown Prince, who is Chairman of the Qatari side in the Council, have stressed that the Council came in implementation of the decision of the leaders of the two brotherly countries to organize the historical relations between the two countries in all fields. In a joint press conference after the end of the second meeting of the Council here on Monday evening, Prince Naif said that relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been historical, noting that the leaders of the two countries decided to establish Saudi-Qatari Coordination Council to organize relations in all fields.
