Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, chaired the Cabinet session held at Al-Yamamah Palace here today. At the outset of the session, the Crown Prince briefed the Cabinet on the talks, meetings and consultations held by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, including his meetings with President Idriss Deby of Chad, former Prime Minister of Iraq Dr. Ayad Allawi, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Commander of US Central Command General David Petraeus. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said the Crown Prince also briefed the Cabinet on the contacts and consultations he held. Then, the Cabinet listened to reports on the developments in the region, included the peace process in the Middle East as well as the situation in Iraq and Palestine.
