Nine killed in traffic accident in east China

Nine people were killed in a traffic accident in east China's Anhui Province Wednesday, police said.
A five-seat minibus, carrying nine people, made a head-on collision with a passenger bus with seven people onboard at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mengcheng County of Bozhou City. The minibus was running on the wrong lane when the accident took place, Xinhua quoted police as saying.
Seven of those on the minibus were killed at the site and two others died later in hospital after first-aid efforts failed.
