14 killed in road accident in northeast China

Fourteen people were killed in a collision in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province Thursday morning, Xinhua quoted police as saying.
The accident took place at around 7 a.m. in Nenjiang County when a bus with 37 passengers and a dump truck collided head-on, said sources from the provincial department of public security.
At least five other people were seriously injured, said the sources.
Senior traffic police officers from the provincial department are investigating the cause of the accident.
