Five people were killed and at least 18 others injured in a bus and truck collision in Hefei, capital of east China's Anhui Province, Xinhua quoted local traffic police as saying. The accident took place on Monday on an expressway linking Hefei and Nanjing, capital of the neighboring Jiangsu Province, at 2 a.m. when a truck crashed head-on into a bus, police said. It was still not yet known how many passengers were on board the bus, the police said The injured people were admitted to hospital and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
