The media spokesman of the Border Guard in Najran Region First Lieutenant Turki bin Saud Al-Gosaibi said that the patrols of the Border Guard foiled yesterday two attempts to smuggle 192 tile-shaped hashish into Najran Region. "A patrol stopped a group of people coming into the Kingdom who were carrying suspicious bags. When they tried to escape, warning shots were fired by the patrol. They left their bags which contained 173 tile-shaped hashish", he said. "Another patrol received information that someone is planning to smuggle materials into the Kingdom. The person was ambushed by the patrol which seized 19 tile-shaped hashish", he added.
