In implementation of the directives of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, who is also General Supervisor of Saudi Campaign for Relief of Victims of Earthquake and Tsunami in East Asia, and in the framework of cooperation with regional and international humanitarian organizations, the Campaign has executed in cooperation with Islamic Development Bank, Seven projects at a cost of more than $ 44.6 million in the province of Aceh, Indonesia. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, Advisor to Prince Naif and the Campaign's Chairman pointed out that the projects included among others two centers for orphans, repair of a mosque, 1000 housing units, 3 medical clinics; and delivery of drinking water. He noted that the campaign has been providing many projects and programs amounted to a total cost of more than $ 86 million in countries affected by the tsunami in medical, educational, housing, social fields .
