In accordance with directives of Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, The Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of The Saudi Relief Campaign to assist the victims of the Earth Quake and Tsunami that hit Asia, the Campaign handed over to Islamic Development Bank (IDB), a sum of SR28, 500,000 to complete the implementation of a number of development projects in affected countries of Tsunami in East Asia. Dr. Saed Al-Orabi Al-Harthi, the Advisor to the Minister of Interior and the Head of the Campaign said the amount provided for the implementation of programmes and development projects in vital areas of the affected States is a continuation of the Saudi Arabia's assistance, which was and is still in the core of the event. The Saudi Government has extended assistance generously according to certain mechanisms to ensure it reaches quickly those who are in need in cooperation with local organizations and international institutions. --MORE
