The Secretariat-General of the Federation of the GCC Councils of Chamber, the Bahraini Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Chinese Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) will organize in Manama on March 23-24, 2010, the Gulf-Chinese Economic Forum. Dr Essam Abdullah Fakhro, the Chairman of the Federation of the GCC Chambers of Commerce, said the forum will focus on the development of economic and trade relations between the GCC member states and China. He noted that the Forum will provide a good opportunity to the Gulf and Chinese companies to get acquainted with the available investment opportunities.
