The Federation of Chambers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will organize in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday an economic symposium on the consequences of the global financial crisis on the economies of the GCC states. The Federation's President and Chairman of Bahrain's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dr. Essam bin Abdullah Fakhro has pointed out that the symposium comes in the framework of GCC Chambers seeking to address the repercussions of the global financial crisis, to take advantage of investment opportunities created by it and the situations of the Gulf economies after the crisis. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
