The Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Yosef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen has approved the establishment of 12 charitable societies throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, raising the number of the licensed public charities to 583 along with 88 private charities. The Ministry pointed out that the establishment of charities comes as a confirmation of the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, and the Second Deputy Premier for supporting charitable works.
