Othaimeen, Minister of Social Affairs, has approved the establishment of 12 charitable societies throughout the country, raising the number of licensed public charities to 583 along with 88 private charities. The establishment of charities comes as a confirmation of the keenness of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the Second Deputy Premier for supporting charitable works, the ministry said.
