Iraq to host Arab Summit

Ahmed bin Helli, the assistant secretary general of the Arab league, said Iraq will host the periodical Arab summit in 2011.
This announcement comes following the talks held by Helli and Iraqi President Jalal al-Talbani as well as the talks held by Helli and speaker of Iraqi council of deputies Iyad al-Samra"ei yesterday.
Baghdad-based al-Sabah newspaper quoted Helli as saying that a comprehensive report on the situation in Iraq will be reviewed at the meeting of the Arab foreign ministers and Arab Leaders at their summit due to be held in Triploi next March.
Helli described his talks in Baghdad as "positive and important". and reiterated the support of the Arab League to Iraq.
