MUTHAMI SAID THAT HIS VISIT TO BAGHDAD CAME WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF HANDING OVER THE KING'S INVITATION TO IRAQ'S PRESIDENT JALAL TALBANI INVITING HIM TO ATTEND THE 19TH ARAB SUMMIT IN RIYADH THIS MONTH.
HE SAID THAT HE HANDED OVER THE INVITATION DURING A MEETING WITH IRAQ'S VICE PRESIDENT ADEL ABDULMAHDI HERE TODAY, EXPRESSING HOPE THAT SECURITY AND STABILITY PREVAIL IN IRAQ.
