Presided over by its Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, the Shoura Council held its 68th ordinary session, passing the three-pronged bill on pleading procedures before the court of grievances pending the approval of the cabinet. Dr. Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, Secretary General of the Council, said in a statement following the meeting, that the council agreed with majority to keep into force its previous decision to form an ad hoc committee to re-study the government lands control system despite the protest of the Water, Utilities and Public Services Committee which runs against the formation of the committee. Then the council passed the annual reports of the Civil Service Ministry for the fiscal years 1427-28 and 1428-29 H.
