A small bomb exploded Saturday in front of Parliament in central Athens, AP quoted police as saying. No one was injured. The blast occurred at 7:59 p.m. local time (1759 GMT) and was heard across Athens" Syntagma Square. An anonymous caller had telephoned a warning to a national newspaper 17 minutes earlier. Police cordoned off the area before the blast. About an hour later, the nearby 5-star Grande Bretagne hotel received a bomb threat.
