A bomb exploded outside a tax office in Athens early Friday, causing minor damage and no injuries, police said, according to AP. A small far-left group called Armed Revolutionary Action claimed responsibility for the attack in a phone call to an Athens newspaper. The blast occurred shortly after 3:00 a.m. (0000 GMT) near a busy avenue in the north of the capital, just 10 minutes after a warning call was made to an Athens newspaper. Police had stopped traffic near the site. Authorities said a small quantity of explosives packaged in a metal container was used in the pre-dawn attack.
