Headlines of local newspapers highlighted on Tuesday the opening speech of Kuwait"s Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah at the 30th Summit of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Leaders, which began its deliberations yesterday in Kuwait city. While "Al-Rai" newspaper described the summit as "The Summit of Solidarity with the Kingdom," "Al-Seyassah" focused on the Emir"s reiteration that any attack on Saudi territories was "a violation of the collective security" of the Gulf states. The headlines of "Awan" and "Al-Jarida", as well as "Annahar" and "Al-Rouiya" also focused on this declaration on the part of the Kuwaiti Emir. --MORE
