Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Hasseen, Minister of Water and Electricity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has said that the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)"s project of joint power grid which was launched here earlier today on the sidelines of the GCC summit will save substantial funds for the GCC countries, as well as achieving the safety of the electricity grid. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi minister stressed that "The GCC"s joint power grid project will achieve significant economic results proved by studies and will be affirmed by application".
