Saudi newspapers focused in their editorials today on a number of topics particularly the GCC Summit due to be held in Kuwait later today. On the 30th Summit of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Kuwait today, Al-Jazirah, Al-Riyadh, Al-Watan, Al-Madinah, Al-Yaum, and Al-Bilad newspapers said in their editorials that the current political challenges constitute the largest file before the GCC summit, pointing out that risks and threats have been surrounding the GCC states which necessitate the revival and strengthening of the spirit of one teamwork of the Council in future political orientations and decision-making. The papers added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been one of the most important key components of the GCC states and now it is subjected to an aggression launched by terrorist groups fond of using violence, murder, and destruction and they have violated its southern border. --MORE
