The third meeting of the Heads of the Parliaments and Shoura Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States was concluded here today. The Kingdom"s delegation to the two-day meeting was led by the Shoura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh. At the end of the meeting, the GCC Heads of Parliaments and Shoura Councils issued a statement, emphasizing their support for the action taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect its borders, have full sovereignty over its territory and repel any aggressor. They also stressed that the Kingdom"s security and stability are an integral part of the security and stability of the GCC countries. --SPA
