GCC Chief Welcomes UN General Assembly Adopting Goldstone Report

Secretary General of The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdul Rahman bin Hamad Al Attiyah has welcomed UN General Assembly adopting the Goldstone Report on Israel"s war crimes on the Gaza Strip.
In a press release issued Friday quoted by Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Attiyah said that Goldstone"s report has repeatedly asserted that Israel committed war crimes against humanity.
"The unjust siege imposed on Gaza Strip constitutes a policy of collective punishment that contravenes the Fourth Geneva Convention," he added.
Al Attiyah called on the international community to stand firm against Israeli war crimes and to punish aggressors and compensate the victims.
