The Council of Arab Health Ministers expressed its strong condemnation of the outrageous aggression perpetrated on the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip in violation of all human norms and international conventions. A statement issued by the Saudi Minister of Health, current Chairman of the Council Dr. Hamad Al-Manea also said that the tragedy is caused by the barbarian attacks and aggravated by the siege imposed on Gaza Strip as hospitals and health centers lack minimal medical care requirements for the injured and wounded who need emergency interventions and necessary management. The statement called for a responsible international stand against the tragic deterioration of health conditions under which Gaza population live. The Council also noted that it places all its resources under the disposal of Gaza Strip population to alleviate their extremely hazardous situation. Moreover, the Council called upon international institutions and organizations to extend a helping hand to the population in Gaza and reckon the aggressors for their killings and demolition.
