Princess Nourah Oncology Center, an affiliate of the National Guard"s King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah will organize in cooperation with Detroit University the Second International Conference on Breast Cancer at Jeddah Intercontinental Hotel here on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Abdulwahab Andigani, Internal Medicine Consultant, President of Princess Nourah Oncology Center and Chairman of the Conference"s Scientific Committee said that the event is sponsored by Roche, a global pharmaceutical firm, is biennially held in October, coincides with the International Month for Breast Cancer Awareness, and gives impetus to the October breast cancer risk campaign. He said, "The Conference will have more than 14 working papers dealing with the latest developments in diagnosis and therapy reflecting the summary of the experiences of international research centers specialized in this field" . He pointed out that the conference will address how to use the latest diagnostic equipment, which became available in the Princess Nourah Oncology Center, indicating that breast cancer is the most prevalent woman diseases in the world , and the most prevalent among women diseases in Saudi Arabia. -- SPA --SP
