Under the Auspices of Prince Abdulaziz bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah Region, King Fahd Complex for Printing of the Holy Quran will organize on October 13-15, the Holy Quran & Contemporary Technologies, Information Technology Symposium. Dr. Mohammed Salim Al-Owfi, the Secretary General of King Fahd Complex said that the symposium aims to demonstrate the importance of information technology in facilitating learning and teaching of the Holy Quran and to highlight the role of the Complex in utilizing contemporary technologies in the service of the Holy Quran. The Symposium includes 5 main themes. They are as follows: -Technological applications in the service of the Holy Quran, -The Holy Quran and related rulings of jurisprudence resultant from utilizing it, - Software tools conducive to the service of the Holy Quran, -Technological attempts aim at serving the Holy Quran, -Software and websites directed against the Holy Quran.
