An Iraqi academician has highlighted the great role being played by the Madinah-based King Fahd Holy Quran Printing Complex for the service of the Holy Quran. Dr Ghanim Al-Hamad, the lecturer at Tikrit University in Iraq, said the organization of a seminar on the Holy Quran and contemporary technologies by the complex embodies the great attention given by its officials to the scientific development. The seminar, due to be organized by the complex on 24-26/10/1430, will be concerned with the information technology and its role in the service of the Holy Quran. Dr Al-Hamad lauded the trend of the complex to organize specialized scientific seminars concerned with the Holy Quran and its sciences as well as Hadeeth (the Prophet's teachings) and its sciences.
