Riyadh newspaper praised the speech delivered by Sheikh al-Sideis, the Imam of the Harm on Friday in which he said King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) constitutes an important achievement because it will positively contribute to the development of knowledge in the country. The daily noted that Sheikh al-Sideis is fully aware of the importance of the scientific development and he is keen on a bright future for the Muslims. As development of human resources has become the most important resource in the contemporary world, we have no way but to give utmost attention to modern education notably sciences and technology, the daily added. King Abdullah has been giving top priority to education because he is aware of the fact that without knowledge we can't catch the train of the developed countries, the daily added.
