The Heads of Civil Retirement and Social Insurance Departments of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries will hold their 9th meeting in Bahrain on Sunday. The delegation of General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be headed by GOSI's Governor Suleiman bin Saad Al-Humayyid who has pointed out that the meeting comes within the framework of the joint action between the GCC countries regarding the regulation of Civil Retirement and Social Insurance in implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Council of GCC countries to achieve social security for the GCC citizens working in other GCC countries. It is noteworthy that there have been 1,190 Saudis working in the GCC countries who are registered in the social insurance system in accordance with the extension system of insurance protection.
