The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) will participate in the 9th meeting of Heads of Civil Retirement and Social Insurance Departments of The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries scheduled to be held in Bahrain on October 11. GOSI's Governor Suleiman bin Saad Al-Hamid, who will head the Organization's delegation to the meeting, has pointed out that the meeting comes within the framework of the joint action between the GCC countries regarding the regulation of Civil Retirement and Social Insurance in implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Council of GCC countries to achieve social security for the GCC citizens working in other GCC countries. It is noteworthy that there have been 1,190 Saudis working in the GCC countries who are registered in the social insurance system in accordance with the extension system of insurance protection.
