The International Conference on Al-Quds that come in the framework of the celebration of Al-Quds as the Capital of Arab Culture 2009 started its works here today. Jordanian Culture minister Sabir Erbihat said in his keynote that he hopes that the conference will contribute to confirm the spiritual, moral and cultural legacy of Al-Quds (Jerusalem that created over thousands of years and earned the city distinctive character and unique position immune to obliteration and Judaization). He called on researchers and scientists to open a new era to preserve Al-Quds and its blessed sites and to protect them from current efforts of falsification of the original facts, obliteration and Judaization.
