The Jordanian Committee for the Affairs of Al-Quds denounced the latest Israeli decision to establish a Jewish museum across the Western Wall ( Al-Buraq Wall) which is part of the Holy Mosque of Al-Aqsa. The committee confirmed in an official statement that the resolution is a form of blatant Judaization of Arab territories, especially Jerusalem, reflects the determination and shameless move forward in the process of Judaizing Jerusalem and obliterating the landmarks of Islamic heritage and change its demography as well as a new blow to the peace process. "It is in stark contrast with the relevant United Nations resolutions and international and humanitarian laws and its two protocols annexed to them, and it is also against the fourth agreement of the Geneva Conventions endorsed in1949 especially the fourth convention which prohibits all actions of the Israeli occupation authorities that would alter the demographic characteristics and civilization, religious nature, archaeological and historic Arab lands of Palestinian territories, including Al-Quds. The decisions pertaining to Israel's procedures and practices are null and void and the Israelis are demanded to cancel such procedures as these are illegal," the statement said. The Commission appealed to the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), the United Nations, UNESCO and all international governmental and non-governmental organizations to exert pressure on Israel to put a definitive end to its expansionist and aggressive policies and compel it to adhere to the resolutions of international laws and the recognition of the right of the Arab Palestinian people to self-determination for the Palestinian national soil with Al-Quds.
