Saudi Embassy in Mauritania celebrated here today the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Saudi Ambassador to Mauritania Saud bin Abdulaziz Al-Jabri expressed his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince and the Saudi people on the occasion of the National Day. He talked about the King's achievements at all levels, noting that the King's prosperous era has been characterized by deep human dimensions and keenness on the issues of the homeland as well as the enhancement of peace and stability in Arab and Islamic world. The Ambassador reviewed the wise approach pursued by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in combating and uprooting terrorism, as well as eliminating its causes. He stressed strong relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Mauritania, also affirming the keenness of Mauritanian authorities on further promotion of these relations.
