The Beirut-based Al-Sayyad magazine has shed light on the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighting the significant role played by the late King Abdulaziz in the unification of the country. While celebrating the 79 anniversary of the Kingdom's National Day, the Saudi citizens have every right to feel proud of the great achievements accomplished in their country as well as for the Kingdom's remarkable role at the Arab and international arenas in addition to its significant role as regards enhancing the pillars of regional and global comprehensive and just peace, said the magazine. Citing the achievements so far attained by the Kingdom, the magazine noted the inauguration of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). The magazine praised the support being extended by the Kingdom to the Arab countries including Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq, Sudan, Somalia and Yemen. It also praised the call of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to conduct dialogue internally and with followers of other religions, noting that the admission of the Kingdom in the G-20 constitutes an important development.
