The driver of the means of land and sea transport shall not be allowed to receive, transfer or getting off or taking into any person or materials from the border areas, otherwise any attempt of offence will be punished by imprisonment for not less than seven days and not more than thirty months and a fine of not less than five hundred riyals and not more than twenty-five thousand riyals, or both. Additional penalties may be added to the previous ruling by publishing the final verdict in one or more local newspapers at the expense of the violator at the residence of the offender or in the nearest area where newspapers are published. The Interior Ministry stresses the importance and the need to comply with its contents for public interest and to avoid being subjected to liability under the regulations and to avoid subsequent penalties.
