Commenting on the Somalia problem, the Abha-based al-Watan newspaper praised the role of the European Union as regards shedding light on the Somalian problem at the UN general assembly. Warning against enabling al-Qaeda to have footage in Somalia, the daily said the Muslim youth organization in Somalia has plainly announced that it will carry out the instructions of Osama bin laden. Commenting on G-20 Summit, the Dammam-based Al-Yaum hoped that the summit would lay foundation for resolving world economic crisis. The paper pointed out that previous economic summits used to focus on the developed countries disregarding the developing ones. It said earlier the developing countries were deprived of voting rights at the international financial institutions like the IMF.
