The paper believes that Sheikh Shareef Ahmad is one of the few Somalian personalities who have earned the respect of the Somalians and the international community, adding that it will not be possible to overlook the dirty role being played by Israel which is keen on keeping the region in a state of unrest and instability. It is very clear that the Somalia region is not an area of dispute among big countries like the US, Russia, China or Europe. "So, all big powers are keen on enhancing the pillars of security and stability as well as preserving the safety of the international waters and the trade-routes". The paper asked if US President Barrack Obama would give any attention to Somalia in line with his new policy towards the Muslim world, adding that personal efforts from the side of Obama is expected to yield positive results in this respect.
