The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will inaugurate on the occasion of the Kingdom's National Day, on Wednesday, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) to be added to 24 governmental universities and 7 private universities as well as 18 private university colleges in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Statistics of the Ministry of Higher Education showed that the total number of male and female students for the academic year 1428 / 1429H stood at more than 700,000 and the teaching staff nearly 29,000 members. They also noted that the total number of graduates stood at more than 96,000 in all stages of higher education in the academic year 1428 / 1429H.
