Tropical Storm Jimena forms in Pacific Ocean

The National Hurricane Center says Tropical Storm Jimena has formed in the Pacific south of Mexico.
Jimena is expected to get stronger and could become a
hurricane over the next day or two.
Early Saturday, it had maximum sustained winds near 40 mph
(65 kph) and was moving west near 12 mph (19 kph). Jimena
was centered about 250 miles (405 km) southwest of
Acapulco, Mexico, and about 365 miles (585 km)
south-southeast of Manzanillo, Mexico.
Jimena is the 10th named storm of the Pacific hurricane
season.
