Holbrooke meets Pakistan's Finance Minister
ISLAMABAD Published in Saudi Press Agency on 17 - 08 - 2009

Richard Holbrooke, US Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan called on Shaukat Tarin, Federal Minister for Finance here today.
During the meeting, the Federal Minister briefed Holbrooke about the state of Pakistani economy particularly the issues related to energy crisis, says a press release issued by the Ministry of Finance.
Holbrooke, while appreciating the signs of improvement of Pakistan's economy, assured of US government's full cooperation in resolving Pakistan's economic issues, including the energy crisis.
Minister of State for Finance and Economic Affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar and US Ambassador to Pakistan, Anne W. Patterson were also present during the meeting, The Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
