Aramco Services Co. Honored for Supporting Geosciences

Aramco Services Co. (ASC) received a Corporate Star Award recently from the Houston Geological Society (HGS) for providing rock-solid support to help the organization fulfill its mission “to stimulate interest and promote advancement in the geosciences.”
Kara Bennett, 2008-2009 HGS president, presented the award during the HGS Annual President's Night, and praised ASC for its dedication over the years that has contributed to the organization's success, according to a report carried by Saudi Aramco's web-site.
ASC representatives have served on various HGS committees and councils, and have participated in exhibits, including the HGS Technofest to support technological advances in the geosciences. ASC has also served as a corporate sponsor of several dinner events featuring notable industry speakers.
