The Executive Director of the OIC Bureau for Development and Humanitarian Assistance in Niger has been officially installed and assumed his functions on July 23rd, 2009 in Niamey, according to a press release of the Organization of Islamic Conference issued in Jeddah yesterday. The official ceremony was attended by Nigerian Minister of Economy and Financial Affairs Mohamed Lamine ZEINE; the OIC Secretary General's representative and the members of the Steering Committee for the OIC Programme for the consolidation of Niger's food self-sufficiency. The ceremony took place at the Conference hall of the Nigerian Ministry of Economy and Financial Affairs and was also attended by the public and private press corps in Niger.
