The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu received yesterday at his office here, Abdou Kolley, the Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs of the Republic of Gambia, who was on a working visit to the OIC Headquarters. The two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the OIC and Gambia and examined ways of consolidating these relations in the various fields. While acknowledging the goodwill message from the President Yahaya Jammeh, as conveyed by the visiting Minister, Professor Ihsanoglu expressed his satisfaction at Gambia's active participation in the activities of the OIC, particularly in the various economic projects established pursuant to the Ten-Year Programme of Action, according to a press release of the OIC.
