Four Spanish firefighters were killed Tuesday in a wildfire which devastated more than 50 hectares of vegetation near Tarragona in the east, Spanish National Radio reported. At least two firefighters were reported injured. The fire broke out in the Els Ports nature park for an unknown reason. The flames were threatening the municipality of Horta de Sant Joan. Several houses were evacuated in the area. The fatalities brought the death toll in wildfires to at least five in Spain this summer.
