The US topped the list of the countries from which the Kingdom imported in the first quarter of 2009. It was followed by China, Japan and Germany. As regards trade exchange between the Kingdom and the GCC member states, the report said the Kingdom imports from these countries in the first quarter of 2009 jumped by eight percent to SR 4,016 million from SR 3,731 million in the same period last year.
